What is Subway

Subway is a fast food chain which provides large, filled sandwiches made there and then infront of you. You go into the store and order exactly what you want. You choose from a selection of 4 breads and whether you want a 6 inch (which is half a sub) or a footlong (full sub). You can also choose whether you would prefer a wrap or even if you would just like a salad. There is a large variety of fillings, you choose whether you have and what salad fillings you have, sauce and whether you would like salt and pepper. You can also choose whether you want cheese and you want it toasted. You can choose double cheese or double meats but there is an extra cost to this. You can purchase a meal deal which includes your sandwich, a drink and a cookie or crisps.

Advantages: The food is cheap and fast and it's possible to eat healthy Disadvantages: Too many experiences with non hygienic servers mean I wont be returning!
Subway has taken over the world or so it seems, there is at least Subway on most high streets in the UK.
Officially the largest global single branded restaurant chain there are over 31000 branches worldwide - that's some monopoly!
I remember when they first came to the UK, they were marketed as the healthy fresh fast food option, I guess in answer to the publics health fears about Macdonalds, Burger King et al.
In fact there is a story used by Subway in their marketing campaign about a
student who lost 245 pounds just by eating mostly of Subway sandwiches combined with exercise!
THE FOOD:
Set up in a conveyor belt type system, whereby you choose as follows:
1. Bread size (6" or footlong)

Subway Review
Subway is a worldwide chain restaurant with nearly 31,000 stores in 89 countries; it was created by Fed De Lua in 1974, an American from Connecticut. Most of the stores are quite small, the main product is ?subs,? short for submarine rolls, and sandwiches.
Their main location is the United States, where they have most of their stores, however they also are based in many other countries, the main ones being Australia, the UK and Singapore. There are also subways in some unusual locations such as army bases. Where I live there are at least ten within twenty minutes, and in the main city I have counted at least four in the centre. However, it seems that the only place there isn?t one is my town, maybe that?s a good thing because I?d be spending too much money taking advantage of the special offers!
