Subway, Nederkouter 55, Ghent

Advantages: clean, tidy, good service and price
Disadvantages: need a taxi to get into town

...I have been on two different Christmas Shopping bus trips and both times have stayed at the Ghent Holiday Inn. The price of each trip was £99 inclusive of bus travel, ferry crossing and two nights accomodation at the Holiday Inn. LOCATION +++++++++ The Holiday Inn Ghent is around 60km from Brussels and is situated in central Belgium which makes it ideal to explore the country. It is near the intersection of the E17 and E40 motorways. It is 65km from Ostend airport in Holland and 62km from Antwerp airport . On the first trip that I went on we visited Valkenburg and Ostend in Holland, and Aachen in Germany and each day we made good time and were not rushed at all. Advantages: Tasty sandwiches, great choice of fillings, friendly service and hygienic.
Disadvantages: Quite pricey for a sandwich.

...The Subway is not bad if you want a quick sandwich and a none alcoholic drink, but let me get one thing straight we are not talking about underground subways here. The Subway I'm talking about is situated in Blackpool. It is on Clifton Street where it is extremely difficult to park and where you're likely to get a parking ticket if you don't park properly. Even disabled people because my father in law tried to stop for a minute and was pestered by parking attendants. You would think with all the money Subway has put into it that it would be able to afford a car park by now. Anyway with that aside I must say what I like about Subway. I like the fact that the staff all wear gloves to make the sandwiches. It makes a difference to going into some café's where they make everything with hands that might not have been washed. So... ...Subway for those who don't know is a chain of fast food restaurants from America, but it's fast food with a difference... Its HEALTHY. Yes.Fast food and the word H E A L T H Y in the same scentence! Sandwiches are their main products, and they are so delicious, but before Ive summed up this whole op at the beginning, let us move on... ---LOCATION--- In Liverpool, we used to have only one subway outlet, but in the last year two more have opened up in the city centre. The origional one is the only one with tables though, as the other two are take-outs only. Now I dont enjoy eating in the street so I find this a bit dissapointing but what the hey!... They are opening another one newly built just near me with a new Tesco express and choices video store. So this will be convenient. ---WHAT SORT OF FOOD DO THEY SELL... Read review
