Sudak, Ukraine

Sudak is a Ukrainian seaside town on the Crimean peninsula, one that is particularly popular with families and that is refreshingly bereft of the brashness and hustling that make larger resorts such as Odesa and Yalta so unappealing. If I'm honest I have to say that Sudak is little more than a poor man's Blackpool but it does have one feature that makes it stand out - a well-preserved and picturesque Genoese fortress. One of the most beautiful places of the black sea shore. The beautigul mountains offer you a view straight over the sea. The prices are fine, even cheap for an european. A great historic place. I enjoyed being there a few months the last summer. I must say that they have an outrageous wine down there, one of the best! The touristic importance of Sudak is well-known. There are a lot of stories and legends about those places, and that makes the mistery bigger. The are gulf that give you the chance to do some amazing pictures.
