Advantages: central, friendly staff, close to boat for beach, large rooms Disadvantages: didn't notice any specific childrens amenities
...As a child I loved the stories of the Arabian nights. This hotel is what I imagine a rich merchants house would have looked like. It is truly beautiful.
The Sultan Bey is set in the Downtown area of El Gouna. Close to shops and bars, but most importantly, this is where you find the jetty for the boat to the beach!
The whole resort is quite low key, so there is no noise from the local bars and it was easy to get a good nights sleep after a hard day at the beach.
Our room at the Sultan Bey was huge. Two single beds in one alcove, a large tv, coffee table and sofa in the main area, a large old fashioned wardrobe in one corner, and a large en-suite shower/ toilet.
We also had a balcony which had ample room for the two deckchairs and small table. From there we had a stunning view of the lagoon.
El Gouna has its own tv channel...

Advantages: Very comfortable base. Disadvantages: Too quiet and facilities not available.
...Just a short walk from the beach and the famous "Golden Mile" in Marbella, this apartment hotel which opened in 1997 is on a road called Avenida Arturo Rubenstein. Luxurious apartment blocks line the road, and within a short distance are two very upmarket supermarkets if you want to buy food and drink!
Designed to make you feel you are living in the luxury that the sultans enjoyed in years gone by, there are fountains and tropical plants, beautiful tiles and a feeling of luxury.
There are 76 apartments, which are one or two bed roomed with a large comfortable lounge with dining area and large balconies with furniture. There is daily maid service with frequent bed linen change and daily change of towels.
One bedroom apartment

Advantages: convenient location, charming decor, delicious, varied Traditional Turkish breakfast-better than most lower-priced hotels Disadvantages: no elevator (ask for a lower floor if you have heavy luggage), dark street, lots of night noise
...I teach in Istanbul and often choose to stay in the city. A few friends and I recently tried the Sultan's Inn because our regular "haunts" were full and the Sultan's Inn had low rates and high ratings.
When we first arrived, we thought we'd hit pay dirt. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful, and the lobby decor is a charming version of traditional Turkish. Our very reasonably priced room was decorated ala Turka as well (including a canopy over the double bed), though we nearly died hauling our luggage up three stories of a winding staircase. The desk clerk helped with my oldest friend's suitcase, but we hated to make him haul all our heavy luggage (we were leaving on a week-long trip to Cappadocia). An elevator would be a nice touch.
After raving over our quaint ivy-draped balcony, we explored the hotel and were tickled to find...

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.
