I stayed here in December 2007 and have to say I had the worst holiday ever! The resort is a secure compound and is very isolated. This left me feeling as if I was under house arrest and I could have been anywhere - This would have been ok if the sea/beach were usable. The "beach" is a narrow strip of sand with throngs of beach boys harassing you, and the sea is un swimmable and devoid of sea life. The hotel is garish in decor and very 70's. There is a good range of food, but we both had stomach problems for the duration of the stay. To top things off, while we were on safari, our safe was opened, £2200 in cash and cards taken and the the safe was re-locked with my codes - something only the manager should be able to do!! Scary
