Advantages: Lovely rooms, great smellies Disadvantages: I didn't get to try the restaurant - maybe next time!
I've never been to Arundel before which is a bit of a shame as it seems to be a lovely little town although I'd have to admit it seems a bit over-supplied with antique shops and speciality little stores selling things you don't need, like a whole shop just selling walking sticks for example.
I nearly didn't stay at the TownHouse and visit Arundel at all due to a bit of a 'cock-up on the communication front' with the lady who was helping to book me a room. She told me that the TownHouse wouldn't take a booking unless I told them when I was going to arrive and I got in a bit of a snit, fuming "It's not a bloody dentist, why do I need an appointment?" Exasperated, I told her to tell the hotel to take a hike and asked her to book me somewhere else (in fact the awful Mill House in Ashington). Only after she told me that the Mill was ...
Advantages: brilliant performance, clever and engaging story Disadvantages: none
After watching Before Sunrise I was hesitating whether to watch Before Sunset that day or wait not to ruin the experience. Usually the sequences are worse and spoil even the original movie. If you haven?t seen Before Sunset yet I tell you in advance that it won?t spoil the original film. Before Sunset catches up the story nine years after Befor Sunset ends. The film was released in 2004 so exactly nine years later. This film a drama as well. The director and the producer was Richard Linklater. The screenplay writers Richard Linklater and Kim Krizan involved the two main characters of the film in writing the sequel?s screenplay.
Before Sunset takes place in Paris and it is very similar to the first part: the main characters are the same and they walk a lot and talk. The film is quite short, only 80 minutes. The classification of this ...
Advantages: Stunning house, high quality, diets catered for, excellent service, slept like a log Disadvantages: Nothing I can suggest
I dont normally stay in guest houses unless in South Africa or Canada where the B&B style is much different. There you expect luxury rooms, a home baked breakfast, good conversation and a great location. Have now found one in Central London that is completely to my taste. The 1811 Georgian Townhouse is exactly as it says on the tin - a Regency property that has been metriculouly restored to English Heritage standards. The property is not only grade II listed outside but so all authentic on the inside and why the 1811 Georgian TownHouse was selected for my business trip.
Hats off to our host, I'm not the easiest of guests but she responded to every need without being flustered I'm lactose intolerant and vegetarian, dont like man made fibres and had too much to do in too little time. With a gracious and helpful attitude she ...
