Advantages: Beautiful views, friendly staff, lovely rooms, lovely area, everything is just perfect Disadvantages: Have to go outside the hotel to go to a pool
If I had one word to say about this hotel it would be, brilliant, although i do have a lot more words to describe this hotel.
I have been to the Eiger Hotel twice in the last two years, and each time i have gone the service and hospitality has been wonderful! The waiters and the receptionists, every single worker is caring and helps you along your holiday.
The first time i came, we had a room facing the Eiger, the room was set out perfect and they helped us book our ski's, tell us where to get our passes onto the slopes. After looking around Grindelwald we sat down for dinner to only find the seven course meal we were about to go through. Me and my brother thought it was heaven! The food made to perfection, also quick service. For the first few days we couldnt eat it all, but after being on the ski slopes for the whole day we ...
Advantages: Great Pistes, cracking scenary, highest pioint in Europe is here. Disadvantages: Snow not always guaranteed
When I informed my mates that I was going camping in The Alps, the majority laughed, the rest took the mick out of me. In all, this was a great holiday.
This was the second time that I went snowboarding, the first time was in the French Alps.

Secondly, this area has a maze of sledging runs, from devastatingly steep, to gentle, for beginners, and everyone in between. Grindelwald is also home to the world's longest sledge run, at 15km long. (I think it is anyway, tell me if i'm wrong). Most of the time we were there, it was closed, as there was fresh snow which kept the piste-bashers away ...

Advantages: Lovely scenery Disadvantages: Bad weather
grindelwald is an enchanting, pretty high up town in the country of Switzerland. It is also very busy with tourists from all over the World coming to pay a visit here. I can't blame them because when i went i was absolutely awe-struch at the amazing views. Towering above this lovely ski-resort is the North face of the immense Eiger. This is where the Clint Eastwood film 'The Eiger Sanction' was filmed. It is a great spectacle with an almost verticle rock face stretching up into the clowds which is feared by rock climbers worldwide. Stretching beyond the Eiger is the Monch and the Jungfrau which are very well known mountains in the area. The town has lots of touristy sshops and that kind of thing with cable cars running up higher where you can ski from. ...
