I was travelling on business, during which I had a fantastic stay.
This hotel is somewhat now luxurious! It has had a sensational make-over since it joined the Holiday Inn group last year. The room was finely appointed, supremely comfortable, and had a fully-stocked set of amenities, including some L'Occitane de Provence which you don't often see within the chain.
I've stayed at many hotels and the rooms here are the largest I've seen within the group, and the service was much more refined than what one sees even in the Grand Hyatt or Far Eastern hotels.
Every individual detail had been noted and assured satisfaction.
My luggage was 'misplaced' during my flight for Taipei and seeing that I had a such a hectic flight, the desk manager took me to the well kept hotel restaurant where I ordered a lovely meal, that I thoroughly enjoyed. (during which he checked me in)
And without any request on my part, a member of staff from the concierge went to the nearby shopping mall to buy me a tracksuit so I had something to use as pyjamas and then brought up my favourite herbal tea to help one sleep!
Very impressive and a must see!
