Advantages: All the features of the iphone but without the massive price tag
Disadvantages: battery life could be better

--Background-- I bought the iPod touch for my son for his 10th birthday. Before he alerted me to the item I knew nothing at all about it. Having played around with it for a few hours, I can now see what all the fuss is about as this item is so addictive. The touch comes in 3 guises, namely 8Gb, 16Gb and 32Gb versions. These are all identical apart from, obviously the storage capacity. --In the box-- I must admit that then the box came, I thought half the order had been missed as it is minute! Along with the ipod itself, you get the headphones, a usb to pc charger and a quick setup guide. Although this seem very little, it is actually enough to get you up and running in next to no time. THE 8GB MUSIC PLAYER.

Advantages: LARGE MEMORY, SOUND OUTPUT AND LONG BATTERY LIFE.
Disadvantages: : FRAGILE IN LOOKS.

the I pod touch makes it quite a different and unique. The I pod touch is capable of storing large capacity of information well what actually do you think of a device that that has 8gb memory space. Like I wrote above, it is capable of 1500 to 1700 songs and on the other hand, capable of storing 10,000 pictures and also capable of playing video for the duration of 10 hours. In terms of videos, you can equally upload videos just like in music. You can upload movie but the issue with it is that the more you videos you put, the less you space In the music section, we have many categories like the album, artist, song title and genre these are the categories that make it very possible for you to make easy selections of your music. Apple itouch 8GB

Advantages: Stylish, easy to use, large storage, good features, wi-fi
Disadvantages: Long to switch on/off, browser can be slow, may freeze at times

Having gone from a normal 4GB ipod to an 8GB itouch, I was pleasantly surprised with the major difference from the normal ipod to itouch. The itouch offers the users with an array of different features I never thought could be possible for a MP3/4 player. Its Wi-Fi capabilities allow its users to keep up-to-date with the latest news, music and events by using the built in web browser to search for any categories the users pleases. The "Maps" features allows users to find directions to their destination so they always find their way home. The ability to search and play YouTube video is a good feature that no one can get bored of. Away from the extra features, the stored MP3s can be found and played a lot more easily with the touch screen feature and are of high quality.
