Stay at the Mercure in Le Havre

Advantages: Near the town center
Disadvantages: No tea or coffee in the room only the mini bar

Not bad as hotels go but most diffinately not the best. The hotel is situated in a good position in Le Havre quite approx 10 mins walk from the railway station and easy to find. Close to the hotel is the town centre with plenty of shops. The hotel lobby is fairly small and in need of some update, the lobby aslo leads directly on to the bar area and to the restaurent. The staff at the hotel are helpful and pleasant and we had no problemsat check in. The rooms are small but clean with double bed, bathroom and small seating area and TV (very limited chanel choice ), Note that there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms only the mini bar. The rooms could do with updating and are in slight need of re-decoration. The hotel bar is pleasant and the service was good, but the restaurant is too small and we ...

Gracefully Funny

Advantages: Fun acting, excellent timing, beautiful setting, lots of laughs
Disadvantages: No smell-o-vision!!!!! Too smooth an ending.

character in "Between the Sheets" showed us how she can play a prude who learns to unleash her sexuality. Here, she is none of these - she plays the part of Grace Trevethyn, a just-beyond-middle aged widow who has lived very comfortably all her life, only to find out after her husband's death that she is not only penniless, but heavily in debt. She is strong enough to accept the existence of her husband's mistress Honey (played by Diana Quick), but weak enough to know that her financial situation is close to hopeless. Grace is well aware of her strengths and weaknesses - the former being nothing more profitable than her skills as a gardener, who grows orchids (which could be a profitable endeavor, but, sadly not nearly enough to rid her of the tremendous financial difficulties that seem to mount with each scene). Where Theres A Will There's A Grace

Advantages: Funny show.
Disadvantages: Very stereotypical.

was very nicely done, and most importantly it was a hilarious sitcom. The show featured a lot of famous celebrities from Debbie Reynolds as Bobbi Adler, Grace's mother. The late Sydney Pollack played Will's dad. Harry Connick Jnr played Grace's love interest as did Woody Harrelson. Other guest stars include Blythe Danner, Minnie Driver, Genna Davies, Rosie O'Donnell, Taye Diggs and John Cleese.
