I've fallen out of love with Jane Fallon!

Advantages: Pleasant enough chick lit, good premise to the story
Disadvantages: Characters weren't likeable, not as good as Fallon's subsequent novel

Having recently read (and thoroughly enjoyed) Jane Fallon's second novel, Got You Back, I looked forward to reading this, her debut novel. I managed to pick up a copy of Getting Rid Of Matthew in a local charity shop, paying only £1.50, rather than the RRP of £6.99, so I got a bargain. Settling down to read this novel I found myself enjoying the relaxed writing style of Jane Fallon once more. There were some similarities in terms of plot between this and her subsequent novel. Both stories feature a married man having an affair with another woman. In 'Getting Rid of Matthew', the married man is a successful businessman (Matthew) who has been having a long-term affair with one of his employees (Helen) behind his wife's back (Sophie.) H2O mop

Advantages: no chemicals
Disadvantages: didnt work well

I found the H2O mop does not work well like they show on the commercials. I found it didn't glide easily across the floor and it didn't clean well like it says. It's stated to hold over the dirty/stained area for a couple minutes for hard to remove stains and after more than 10 minutes it was still not any cleaner. I also found the cloth cover did not come very clean after a wash. If it actually worked as well as it is supposed to the $100 cost would be well worth it. I personally don't reccomend this product for carpet areas although I did not try it on hardwood floors. It's supposed to work well on heavier stains and with my experience it did not even work well on a light stain. ...

Review of H2o Steam MOP

Ipod Touch 8Gb with engraving

Advantages: All the features of the iphone but without the massive price tag
Disadvantages: battery life could be better

--Background-- I bought the iPod touch for my son for his 10th birthday. Before he alerted me to the item I knew nothing at all about it. Having played around with it for a few hours, I can now see what all the fuss is about as this item is so addictive. The touch comes in 3 guises, namely 8Gb, 16Gb and 32Gb versions. These are all identical apart from, obviously the storage capacity. --In the box-- I must admit that then the box came, I thought half the order had been missed as it is minute! Along with the ipod itself, you get the headphones, a usb to pc charger and a quick setup guide. Although this seem very little, it is actually enough to get you up and running in next to no time.
