Abersoch is a small town on the Lleyn peninsula, it is popular holiday resort for lots of people, particualrly from Cheshire and the North West of England. Receantly it has become popluar with young people due to the improvement in the nightlife in the area, it is still not brilliant but there are a few pubs and club nites at The Harbour Hotel. At the end of July there is a wakeboarding/music festival on the headland, which is very good and there is a wakeboarding competition with top wakeboarders competing for the prize. This a well as the Tidal Rave at august bank holiday weekend attracts many young people to the area. It also attracts many surfers due to the nearby surfing beaches of Hells Mouth and Porth Ceriad. Abersoch itself has many beautiful beaches, the best and the busiest is the main beach which is close to the main town, this is where watersports and activities such as wakeboarding and bannana rides. There is also two other beaches, the harbour beach (suprisingly by the harbour!) and the warren beach. The shopping here is excellent, particulary for surf clothes and watersports equipment. Overall it is a beautiful seaside town which is well worth a visit for young and old alike.
