    A Backpacker to stay and...

A great Hotel

This is a great hostel where i have stayed many times on several trips to Auckland both in the winter and the summer months. i always find it to be friendly clean and warm, and with the location being in-between the town (2mins) and the supermarket ( 3 mins) you won't be needing to bus or taxi anywhere. there is a nice hot pool out the back which is great after surfing. Being on a residential street its nice and quiet so you can get a goodnights sleep as apposed to nomads or base which is like staying at glastonbury being either on top of a night club or surrounded by them! very good choice for everything you want and need from a good old kiwi hostel. There's loads of free internet, tea,coffee n sugar and whilst i was there they received in delivery of 2 brand new bikes and helmets which can be hired for free!. which to me shows the business owners are obviously interested in putting money back into the hostel for the consideration of the guests.
I made lots of friends there and I strongly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a cheap but very friendly atmosphere in the capital of New Zealand!
