The Pacific Sutera hotel is built within the The Sutera Harbour Resort which included another hotel named The Magellan and also a Health Spa. The resort is surrounded by the Harbour which gives you easy access to explore some of the surrounding islands that are a short boat journey away.

The Pacific Sutera Hotel Facilities
The Pacific Sutera Hotel had fish ponds on the grounds with hundreds of rather nice Koi Carp! The bridges across the ponds, led you to the swimming pool and bar area. There is also a small Cove area where you can lay on a small section of beach and swim in the sea and snorkel. The pool is large and has an area in the middle that is only about 1.5 feet deep so you can lay on this to keep cool ...

I booked the Magellan Sutera Harbour and paid for 12 nights for about £1200 for my friends during Feb 2008.
The first day my friends arrived there at the hotel, it was just raining for the whole day and nothing they can do in the hotel. Food and everything are expensive and even can be like the London price.
The worst part is after 2 rainy days there, my friends need to urgently travel back to the UK and at the same time the hotel promised to invoice ... ...the remainder 10 nights. The Sutera Harbour hotel told me that they have to charge for full 12 nights due to a highly booked season but actually my friends told me that the hotel was not full at all. I will not recommend to anyone to use this hotel again. They are not only cheating tavellers, they also cheating the local people like me.
