I live in the Notheast UK. Being a family man I like to get value for money. Although not swayed by peir pressure I like to be informed. I like to meet people from all over the country. Dont like being fobbed off by companies on the phone.

It was last year that my wife and I stayed here. The hotel name was in Turkish which was called "The Kirlangic". This means swallow.
The Hotel sits on the main road into the town and right opposite one of the entrances to the market which is on every Monday. So if you have a room facing the road you will be awake early (4 oclock ish). At the time only some rooms had air conditioning. The rooms are small in comparison to a lot of hotels in the area but you only sleep in then anyway. They are clean and fresh.
I found the staff friendly, even more so if you speak a bit of Turkish (but dont let them know its only a few words, it keeps then on thier toes) they feel you are making an effort. You are close to all the bars and shops where you need a good haggling technique. The grounds of the hotel has a pool which is big enough to sit around and sunbath. There is an outside bar, plus tables to sit at for you meals. We found the food quite good. A few people were complaining but I never found anything poor.
The hotel, like a lot of others had some family members sitting in the reception area watching the TV. Football crazy they are. Even when I shouted for a team playing against Turkey they still talked to me.
I found that one of the rules of the hotel was that you could not take your own drink bought away from hotel up to you room. It is a shame because families bought water and pop for thier kids for the night. We just bought the water at the bar so it never bothered us.
Overall, I would not go back to this hotel, mainly because of the room size and the closeness to the main road.
