Swallow hotel (Kirlangic)

Advantages: Close to town centre and market
Disadvantages: not allowed own drink into rooms. No air conditioning

It was last year that my wife and I stayed here. The hotel name was in Turkish which was called "The Kirlangic". This means swallow. The Hotel sits on the main road into the town and right opposite one of the entrances to the market which is on every Monday. So if you have a room facing the road you will be awake early (4 oclock ish). At the time only some rooms had air conditioning. The rooms are small in comparison to a lot of hotels in the area but you only sleep in then anyway. They are clean and fresh. I found the staff friendly, even more so if you speak a bit of Turkish (but dont let them know its only a few words, it keeps then on thier toes) they feel you are making an effort. You are close to all the bars and shops where you need a good haggling technique. The grounds of the hotel has a pool which is big enough to ...

Review of Swallow Hotel, Marmaris

Do you like white-water rafting?

Advantages: Good, clean, cheap
Disadvantages: A fair way out of Middlesbrough, limited restaurants nearby

Introduction During a recent work trip to Middlesbrough, my colleague and I needed somewhere cheap to stay, and after a trawl through the possibilities on the Internet, came up with this Premier Travel Inn. Amazingly, it is hard to find reasonably priced hotels in the Middlesbrough area, at least ones that were not already booked up. Although the cost of hotels is covered by work, we need to keep costs to a minimum as far as possible. We looked at the choice of Premier Travel Inns in the area, having stayed at a number of satisfactory and cheap Travel Inns in the past. There are three, unfortunately none of which are in Middlesbrough itself. This one is actually in Thornaby, rather than Stockton-on-Tees itself (although it is listed as being in Stockton-on-Tees/Middlesbrough on the website), there is another in Stockton-on-Tees itself ...

Review of Premier Travel Inn, Stockton-on-Tees/Middlesbrough

Top Hotel at Excellent Prices

Advantages: Great Food, Family Friendly, Relaxed atmosphere, Great Value.
Disadvantages: Not very appealing from the exterior

The Glasgow Swallow is a well equipped comfortable and friendly Hotel, located a short distance outside the city centre but in an area with some of Glasgow's best attractions. It is an excellent choice for families and great value for money. I have been to the Swallow in Glasgow with my family many times. From the outside the hotel is quite unimpressive, inside is a different story. It is well decorated and well laid out. As you walk in the door you have a reception desk in front of you, the dining room, bar and lounge to the left and lift, stairs to rooms and ballroom to the right. The main entrance has a small fountain, disabled access and is under an overhead walkway. Opposite the main door is the entrance to the leisure suite, which has a swimming pool, Jacuzzi and small gym. The leisure suite also provides beauty treatments, so ...
