Advantages: Great value for a spacious clean room including breakfast Disadvantages: The multi-complex is an architectural design disaster
The hotel is on the top 3 floors of a multi-complex. Nothing luxurious but good value for a clean spacious room, breakfast included with 3 drinks from the minibar. The entrance to the hotel is not obvious - look for the glass door next to the house-number and mailboxes - on the door it says in black letters "Hotel Rezeption". Enter and take the elevator to the 6th floor for the hotel reception. The hotel is an architectural / design disaster but if you follow the signs you'll make it to the reception and your room. Corridors and staircases are dimly lit until you press on one of the light switches with a small orange lamp on it.
A day pass for all public transport for one zone (for the Tri-zone) costs EUR 6 per person. If you stay in Maximilian Hotel, take Bus 16 on Hauptstrasse to Rathaus (about 5 min) and change to Bus 55 to Basel ...
Advantages: Great location, great breakfast Disadvantages: Needs a refurb in bedroom areas - urgently!
Hello and welcome, to my review about the QualityHotel in Brighton.

---Location---
The location of the Hotel is superb; it is at the lower end of West Street. For those who don?t know Brighton that well, West Street is the main street where there are a number of clubs, bars ...
Advantages: Great for travelling, friendly, easy to get around, clean Disadvantages: Swiss German is impossible to understand unless you grew up with it!
of sobriety.
I've seen it said that Basel can't decide what it wants to be, but to my mind, it knows exactly what it is: Basel. From the German sensibilities to the Italian style outdoor cafés taking advantage of the unusally warm locale (thanks to the Rhine), there's a mix of the best from every culture - perfectly Swiss. This is reflected even more so in the language, where you can say sorry in German, French or English and be understood perfectly, so long as you say it in a thick enough accent ("zohrree").
The best time to visit is clearly the famous Fasnacht festival of the spring, starting at 4am Monday morning and lasting exactly 72 hours. The streets will be filled with floats and marching bands, all formed of local "cliques" with yet more traditions of their own. It is a quintessentially Basel time of year, with the dry humour ...
