At 1,043 metres above sea level (3,422 feet) the hotel stands on the lower slopes of some of the highest mountains in Europe. Disadvantages: Lacked decor, unprofessional staff, inadequate restaurant

I have just arrived back from a short stay at this hotel in Geneva. The location is convenient, five mins from the airport and ten from city. But unfortunately that is about all I have to say in its favour. It is very basic, staff are unprofessional and rude, down to smoking in the reception area and consuming alcohol in the bar area, when supposed to be on duty. It does not make a good impression I am afraid. Food on the evening menu is overpriced ...

We took breakfast in the Nash airport hotel next door which was lovely as we would not even consider having breakfast in the Ibis, after a bad experience with the dinner menu. They told us all their stories about the hotel, and while we were chatting they gave us food and drink. ...spent one night in this hotel during September. We walked from the railway station which took about 10 minutes, following a map downloaded from Multimap. As we approached the hotel we realised it was a traditional looking Swiss building, and my partner immediately said, "We're staying in a cuckoo clock!"
