Advantages: has everything you need for a good night's sleep Disadvantages: servie station location
First of all, I have to say that i do appreciate this hotel being at a motorway service station however, other service stations I have been to have coach stops whereas this hotel is only accessible by car (or if you like to splash the cash, by taxi). The hotel has everything you come to expect from the Travel inn/Travelodge type of hotel with a decent bed, a pull-out sofa, decent bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, and a few satellite tv channels. My husband and I thought we should give this hotel a try as it is located pretty much bang in the centre between Edinburgh and Glasgow, with Edinburgh around 50 mins away and Glasgow 40mins away taking traffic into account. Advantages: Lots Of History Disadvantages: Incorporated Within The City Of Sheffield
I have moved House many times in the past 15 years but I have never strayed too far from my birthplace of Sheffield. Five years ago I did however venture beyond the South Yorkshire borders and I purchased a Cottage in North East Derbyshire about 2 miles from a place called Eckington.

Eckington lies 6 miles to the North of Chesterfield and 9 miles to the South of Sheffield. Although the boundaries of the City of Sheffield have been changed in recent years to incorporate the Parish ...
Advantages: Close to town and all amenities Disadvantages: none
I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend.
The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home.
The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep.
We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice.
Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from ...
