Sidney, i will say is a great place to visit. Flight from UK to sidney is a little bit expensive but it is worth the cost.

With such amazing coastline in many places and so peaceful, it is definately a great place for relaxation. I visited sidney in may 2004, it was exactly how i expected it to be.

Transport system is excellent and very easy to get around the city. I visited the city centre, a bit crowded but with excellent views-nice huge buildings.

I also visited the opera house and also went on a harbour cruise which departed near the opera house, to take in the view of the bays and the magnificent coastline around that area. Along the coastline is the prime minister's residence, and several beautiful properties owned by international stars.

The markets in the city are quite good for bargains.I bought really lovely souvenirs. Generally the rooms in houses and apartments i visited were spacious and of good decor.

Night life rating is average i gathered but i did go clubbing in another city, newcastle and the atmosphere in the club was great.
