I visited Australia for 7 weeks and the majority of my time there was spent in Sydney. The main reason to visit was so i could see my brother who lives there. It also happened to fall on the weeks around the olympic games. The atmosphere during the games was one that you can only get there. It was great. When the games was not on the atmosphere was still great. Prior the atmosphere building up and afterwards the feeling of wanting the olympics to last longer. Pubs there have 24 hour licences and i cannot complain about that. For a city that the locals think is busy it is very quite compaired to somewhere like London. A place to visit and a place to live. Hope i go back in the not too distant future.

Advantages: It's SYDNEY, y'know the one with the opera house and the bridge? Disadvantages: It's a city that not only sleeps but also stops eating hours before bedtime
