fun and sun down under

Advantages: a must do
Disadvantages: none

Sydneyside - sydney is one of my favourite places in the world it really has everything - Spectacular views, stunning natural attributes and a laid back atmosphere, what more could you want from a stylish city? Sydney is an instant hit, with warm summers and cool winters this vibrant hip city makes you feel healthier immediately and that can't be bad! Getting Around? Sydney is easy to navigate around, the city is compact with most sights within walking ...
...the most amazing views of Sydney Harbour. (Be warned you are breathalysed before Bridge Climb) (www.bridgeclimb.com) For a zoo with a view take a trip to Taronga Zoo for koalas, kangaroos and a Sydney backdrop. (www.zoo.nsw.gov.au) Sydney's beaches are some of the best in the world with plenty of people watching opportunities. For the more energetic try a surf lesson or if you feel like a walk do the Coogee to Bondi walk along the cliffs and coastline. ...

The beautiful harbour city

Advantages: Lots to see and do
Disadvantages: Can be expensive, Very hot in summer

I've lived in Sydney for since 2005 now and I have to say it's the most wonderful city. There really is something for everyone here. First, there's the obvious Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The Opera House is the most amazing building when you see if for real. I really didn't think that much of it until I moved here and stood outside of it. If there's nothing showing there that you fancy seeing, then I'd recommend one of the tours. They offer ...
...small shopping mall, Wildlife World, Sydney Aquariuim. The maritime museum there is great, you can board an exact replica of the HMS Endeavour, the boat that the original fleet sailed here on in 1770. At the other side of Darling Harbour is the Chinese gardens, which is absolutely stunning. It's so peaceful in there, and yet you look up and realize that the city is just across the road. It'll cost you about $6 to get in, but it all goes to the upkeep ...

Sydney Australia a dream come true!!

Advantages: Great city opera house
Disadvantages: expensive

Sydney General Before I went to Australia I had this image in my head of the Sydney Opera and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, this was the first thing I thought about when I thought of Australia, so the first thing I did when I arrived was drive down to see it for myself! I was so excited, I almost had to pinch myself as it all felt like a dream but I really was in Australia at last. Standing by the Opera House was a dream come true; it really is a remarkable ...
...The thing I love about Sydney the most is its beaches, with so many to choose from you have no excuses for not spending a day soaking up the sun. I highly recommend the Coogee to Bondi beach walk, it takes about 2 - 3 hours but it is really worth it if you want to see some of the beaches that Sydney has to offer. You can always take a ferry trip to Manley Beach which is a great day out, really pretty and a great view of the Opera House and Bridge ...

Great place to visit, regardless of age

Advantages: Great weather, cheap, cosmopolotan
Disadvantages: Can be quite humid at times

I first move to Sydney in 1994 with may parents. Coming from England, I had an accent, which was lost within the first 6 months, which may parents were not happy about. We moved into a nice suburb called Lavender Bay, which is right next to Milsons point, which, if your a tourist, is right next to the harbor bridge. This is a great area if your a upper middle classed single or couple, as the transport into the city and the never stopping nightlife ...
...Sydney which may be of some interest: Tourist attractions: - Opera House: very pretty, although highly overrated, as there are very few viewings, so you can only view from the outside. On the plus side, there are some fantastic seafood restaurants located underneath and around it. - Harbor Bridge: Very beautiful, especially when you stand in the middle and look all across the city. There is also the bridge climb, where you can walk across the ...

Taronga Zoo

Advantages: A great zoo Get to touch the animals
Disadvantages: None that i can think of

...to get the ferry from Sydney to get there. Where you get the ferry from is quite close to the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge so that is a photo oppourtunity. After you get off the ferry you go in the zip car that takes you to the top of the hill and pay to get in. When you are in there are a wide variety of Austrailias animals such as the kangeroos koalas and dingoes. When i went to the zoo they had different shows on one of them was the seals ...
