How to backpack in style.

Advantages: A perfect place to start your time in Australia!!!!
Disadvantages: None

The staff were brilliant and always willing to help whether its finding a job, apartment, tourist advice or providing entertainment. Wake UP Wake UP!!!

Advantages: Central hostel
Disadvantages: Don't get much sleep

The Wake Up Hostel had been recommended to me by my friends at Gap Year.com. I booked my bed well in advance as I was spending my 2 weeks in Sydney over Christmas and New Year. The place to stay in Sydney

Advantages: Clean, excellent service, near to city centre.
Disadvantages: Near very noisy pub, not a great view from apartment.

...other minor fault with the Meriton is we were in a one bedroom apartment but they had placed the beds so that you couldn't close the bedroom door. The location of the hotel was in the centre of the shopping district and to get to the major attractions of Sydney it was a 20-40 minute walk.
