Best place in Town
Advantages: Location, staff, location, rooms, LOCATION
Disadvantages: NONE !!!
...March we stayed in the Medina Grand on the Harbourside (Darling Habour) for 4 nights. We booked the accommodation over the internet (lastminute.com.au). On first arrival the staff were very friendly and escorted us to our room.
The room (although not a sea view) was a one bedroom luxury apartment. (let's just say my wife fell in love with the room, and now wants the house decorated in the same style...)
The whole apartment was decorated in Italian ...
...mirrors. The room contained original pieces of art and was decorated in different colours of Brown.
Designer table and chairs (glass table with metal designed chairs)
2. Kitchen - State of the art kitchen, with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge...... loads of kitchen utensils.
3. Bathroom - Huge. Marble bathroom, in Black and white. Room with a washing machine and tumble drier attached. Very powerful shower.

Quality Hotel in great location
Advantages: Freindly Staff, Great Rooms
Disadvantages: standard price is a little steep
The Marriot is truly situated well within the city of Sydney. The only reason I went there is because I booked into a hotel somewhere else in the city, but it was filthy, dingey and there was no way I was going to stay there. The marriot had a few spare rooms, so we checked in. We were there in July (low season) and there was plenty of room to negotiate the rate with the manager. I would advise this in low season as we saved a packet.

...even arranged for us to go to a big rugby league match. We did not have breakfast included, but that did'nt matter as there are loads of good places to go in the city for food.
The rooms were spacious and unbeleivably comfortable. The health club was well equiped with high quality aperatus. Next time that I'm in Sydney (if there is a next time) I will certainly go out of my way to stay there. ...

TWISTING BOTH WAYS IN SYDNEY
Advantages: Superb service, good facilties, excellent food, reasonable prices
Disadvantages: Not in the city, I was there on business

The Stamford Grand North Ryde came up trumps on both accounts, but in endeavouring to keep my travel budget down and having forked out nearly £700 for a flight, all the agent websites were way too expensive. An Excellent First Class Hotel
Advantages: Central Location and Efficient Friendly Staff

The Sydney Four Seasons hotel is located overlooking the city's famous Rocks district. This gives you very easy access to the ferries which can take you to all the other resorts. It is also a short and pleasant stroll to the famous Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. It is also close to the city's shopping and business districts.

The place to stay in Sydney
Advantages: Clean, excellent service, near to city centre.
Disadvantages: Near very noisy pub, not a great view from apartment.
...other minor fault with the Meriton is we were in a one bedroom apartment but they had placed the beds so that you couldn't close the bedroom door. The location of the hotel was in the centre of the shopping district and to get to the major attractions of Sydney it was a 20-40 minute walk. The facilities in the apartment were excellent and its was very clean with a daily maid service, this covered having your bed made, new towels and replenishment ...
...facilities in the room were excellent. There was the television, fridge and freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, dish washer, washer and dryer and an ironing board and iron. There was also a gas hob which i decided not to risk trying.
The apartments were very clean, especially the bathroom which had a sink, shower and toilet and plenty of cupboard space in which to put your toiletries. The cupboards were all mirrored making it easy for me to have ...
