When did we stay - Sept/Oct 2006 Duration - 7 nights Room type - adjoined suite with 1 a king Size Bed and 2 x Queen Beds Group size - 3
This hotel is fabulous and well worth the luxury status that it has. We arrived by Limo from McClarren International Airport and were greeted by the bell boy who whisked off the suitcases and promptly put us at the front of the booking in queue.
The actual booking in took a bit longer than I would have hoped, they had booked us into 2 rooms instead of the suite but this was rapidly sorted out and apologies were made followed by a nice bottle of champagne.
The room itself was HUGE, we had a reception room with sofa, TV and Wet bar and table, the room also had a WC.
The first room contained the 2 x Queen Beds, it also included TV, loads of space for hanging clothes etc and this room also contained a shower and WC.
The second room containing the King Bed was an en-suite onto a spa bath and there were seperate showers and WC. There was a large dressing table area and the room also had TV. The view from the room was half overlooking the strip so very flourescent.
All rooms had Telephones and there were 2 x refridgerators. The decor was quite calming and there were flowers when we arrived.
The hotel is massive with loads of slot machines and tables to play on. There was also a good assortment of eateries, including a breakfast diner and a really nice Chinese restaurant (good value).
Most mornings we went to the Spa - $20 for use for the whole day including the well appointed Gym, which I would thoroughly recommend as you get free drinks and fruits and nuts which was more than ample enough for breakfast. The Spa contained steam rooms and sauna and a large jaccuzzi. Fresh towels, robes etc and there were ample shows and a fantastic pamper room to get yourself made up afterwards - really recommended and the spa treatments were excellent - we had pedicures, massage and eye brow waxing.
The pools were busy but there were enough beds to go around.
The shops inside the hotel complex were sufficent for our immediate needs and we didn't have to go far (Ceasars Palace) for proper shopping.
The white tigers were on holiday at the start of the week but appeared for the last couple of days.
We didn't see the Danny Gans show but heard good reviews (unlike KA - Cirque du Soleil which was very poor)
We paid about £500 each (there was 4 initially booked in but 1 lady dropped out but still paid her way - approx $3800 in all)
Thoroughly recommended
