Oh, look.. they're opening a new shop on the bottom floor tucked away in the corner impossible to find, I said to myself.
So anyway. I went inside my TK MAXX. No, never went back.
The first thing you notice is that absolutely everything is thrown across the floor. Oh dear. So much for shop presentation. So after hours of hunting you find something that looks decent. Oh dear. It's got three price tags on it. You pick it up. Oops. Looks like that candle holder wont be holding candles much longer. So much for quality of goods.
It's hard to say if goods are ever in stock, because they don't really specialise in anything - the staff don't have a clue what they're on abourt - all they do is wheel metal 'cages in to the shop floor and dump them.
So once you've found some clothing you might actually WEAR, then it's time to pay. More like time to start negotiating. 'I'll give you £1.99 for this notepad with no paper.' 'No, I want £3.50.' ..etc.
Suitable for disabled? With stairs up the front? No way.
So, if you want poor quality at cheap prices, or some Kalvin Clein undies or maybe even some Hoaxley sunglasses, you all know where to go.
some elements i agree with and its a bit difficult to find what you want, and you have to do some browsing - but i got some ben sherman jeans for a tenner, original price was 50 quid. not bad really.

Would have been more useful if you mentioned _which_ TK Maxx you visited. The one at Sheffield isn't as bad as you describe, and sounds far more organised.

I know what you mean, the staff and store are a bit tough to get around, but you can find some decent things there if you look hard enough... whether you really want to or not is a different matter!

Advantages: Designer clothes at cheaper prices, Caters for men women and children, Sometimes get hold of cheap fragrances. Disadvantages: Have to search through rails of clothes, Shop is a bit disorganised, Not very consistent (i.e. one day there will be good deals then there will be nothing much in).
Advantages: At the TK Maxx you can buy whatever you want as they virtually sell everthing, it can be your home away from home. Disadvantages: There are only a few around, however, more are being built.
