As an ex-clothes shop proprietor, I feel qualified in commending this shop for its huge variety and amazing value for money.
If you like to dress well an a budget, then this is the place for you. From Calvin Klein to DKNY, Kangol to Versace - this place has it all. Great for bags, gifts and accessories too, and quite a lot for children, although the nice clothes for age 6 girls (my daughter) always seem to get snatched up quickly.
I like to visit TX Maxx each week, as loads new stock arrives on a weekly basis. My top tip is to find out on what day the delivery is due and then to visit the store the following day, after the stock has all been put on the rails. If you only visit at the weekend, don't expect to find as many gems.
It is true that this store is a bit like a jumble sale, but I think this adds to the enjoyment - hunting down that treasure makes shopping so much more enjoyable.

This shop is for the truly stylish shopper - not the fashion victim who likes to be pampered whilst spending ridiculous amounts on the latest gimmick. Nobody is going to tell you what to buy here, and with such massive choice, if you don't have taste, you could come out looking like a clown. But it suits me, in fact, I'm not sure how I used to get by without it.

its a bit difficult to find what you want, and you have to do some browsing - but i got some ben sherman jeans for a tenner, original price was 50 quid. not bad really.

Welcome to Ciao -a good start. I have shopped once in Tmaxx and was amzed at how cheap some of the leather bags and other things were.

Advantages: Designer clothes at cheaper prices, Caters for men women and children, Sometimes get hold of cheap fragrances. Disadvantages: Have to search through rails of clothes, Shop is a bit disorganised, Not very consistent (i.e. one day there will be good deals then there will be nothing much in).
Advantages: At the TK Maxx you can buy whatever you want as they virtually sell everthing, it can be your home away from home. Disadvantages: There are only a few around, however, more are being built.
