TOP Hotel John Howard Apartments, London

Advantages: Excellent location, superb customer service levels and lovely rooms
Disadvantages: No real facilities for the disabled

...at (Paphos) was about 70km from Limassol where we were staying. On arrival at Paphos airport on 30th April we were met by a very friendly taxi driver who grabbed our heavier bags and easily carried them to the car. The journey to the hotel took about 40 minutes and it was nice that the car had air conditioning as arriving in a very warm Cyprus early afternoon after coming from a rather chilly London was quite a shock to the system! EASE OF BOOKING: 10 out of 10 On arrival at the hotel, we found the reception staff to be very friendly and attentive. The reception area was tidy and welcoming and my cousin and I grinned at each other as we checked in, thinking that it was already a good start. ...and special upgraded amenities. Spacious suites with king or queen-sized beds and additional upgraded amenities. Apartments are available in one and two bedrooms. All apartments also provide kitchens and separate living areas. The London lodging is especially ideal for businessmen since they have wireless internet. All in all it is an excellent hotel that will cost from £150 - £200 depending on the day you stay and what deals are available at the time. I fully enjoyed my stay and went home feeling relaxed. The hotel was clean and tidy. Cleaners kept on top of the tidying throughout the day and there were no areas of concern for the hotel's cleanliness. ...The Olivaer Apart Hotel is very reasonably priced and there are some excellent off-peak offers available. It is located just off Olivaer Platz, literally across the road from a bus stop that takes you up the Kurfurstendamm (or you can walk up) and about 5 minutes from the U-bahn at Adenaur. If you are happy getting round the city on public transport this is an excellent hotel. There are a few cafes, bars and restaurants close though not a huge selection (there is no dedicated night life area in West Berlin, you will need to try different areas each night). There is also a supermarket two doors away for water and other snacks. The rooms are quite large but had a small bathroom and are simply furnished with beds, desk, table, chairs and a wardrobe.
