The MoscowTV tower was in the headlines in the summer when there was a disasterous fire there which had included loss of life. I was fortunate to have been up there in June not only to see the vierw but also to have a meal in the restaurant. Service was very good and the food also, especially when considering the price; the meal came to about eight pounds which is exceptional value.
The entrance to the Tower was very 'Soviet' with an exhibition of gifts from other 'towers' such as the BT Tower in London. I thought it was not very promisinmg when tyhey would ot take credit cards even though there was a visa sign at the cash desk for entry into the lifts.
I thought it rated much more highly than the Rainbow Arch in St Louis as far as comfort was concerned and like that it felt a bit dated.
I hope the Moscow TV Tower will open as it was a wonderful view over the city ands the surrounding countryside. It is still there and lit up at night but I am told there are not as many lights as there used to be.

Probably would have got a very helpful grade if it didn't contain so many spelling mistakes! In future spell check your work before publishing it, even if it is only a read through when you have finished writing it!
