I just wanted to say to those considering visiting the southern Italian region of Calabria, you shall no doubt be stopping off in Lamezia, the airport for most of Southern Italy. I went out there in the summer and spent some days in the city itself. Huge train station, lots of hotels and many many restaurants down one road, but beyond that the rest of the town was hidden so well I could not on foot find them. Noone could direct me to them when I asked (in Italian). It seemed a major mystery to me! The locals had a funny idea of the place. Their idea of a half mile walk to the sea front turned into an hours walk with no water down a dusty track that resembled a desert actaully passing the airport AND having to cross the motorway and attempting to be picked up by many people in cars (do all pale hot craggy foreign women look like ...

Advantages: Very readable, enjoyable, imaginative, contains some sensible & good philosophies Disadvantages: The modern versions of the books are altered to make them politically correct
The set of Malory Towers books was written by Enid Blyton during the post-WW2 part of the 1940s?.I think the final one may have spilled over into 1950. They tell the story of pupil Darrel Rivers? time at the school, from her very first day as a 13-year-old, through to her last, when she leaves at age 18.

Later in the evening when at home and in bed (I was supposed to be asleep), I began to read Third Year At Malory Towers, and just couldn?t put the book down ? I read it from cover to cover that night, in secret by torchlight under the blankets, and the next day my mother ...
Advantages: cheap price Disadvantages: very basic, and unsatisfy hotel service
I stayed for few days in this hotel. It was a very terrible experience that I had so far. There were so many mosquitoes in the room, got bitten by them as well in the night.
The breakfast price was a bit expensive, but when we went there for breakfast in the first day, there was not bread yet at 08.00 in the morning. They said that the baker did not arrive yet, so there was no fresh bread yet that day. But the second day we had breakfast, we found fungus on our bread. Can you imagine that?
So if you want to stay in this hotel, please think again few more times.Even their rate was quite cheap, but I don't think they deserve for three stars hotel. ...
