We went to taba in the easter break 2005 ,we landed at taba airport and had about a 45minute drive to the hotel ,and at first i thought what a building site as we drove through the mountain area ,but when we reached our hotel it was out of this world true 5 star luxury .please note security is very intense and a little off putting at first but is for your own good and you do get used to it guards are even located at the boundaries of all the hotels and on the beach .This really is paradise the hotel is one of only a handful in taba heights all mainly 5star like the sofitel and hyatt regancy and all situated on the beach of the red sea you really are isolated ,this is the perfect holiday to just chill and relax you really are isolated no shops or roads to walk down just the beach front .you can get a bus on the hour everyday to water park for boat trips and parasailing which is great so give it a go !and you can eat there and the bus will bring you back as well .The beaches are really uncrowded so you can always get a sunbed ,you do have to swim from the jettys provided so as not to harm the beautiful corals ,the best jetty is at the hyatt regency hotel and i assure you it will take you breath away seeing the fish and sealife ,all you will want to do all day is snorkel and dive it is fab!! There are various excursions you can do even to see the pyramids ,i would have loved to do this but we were only there for a week and i have 2 young children and these trips take a long while on the coach and would not have been fair to them in the heat at there age .but we did do the excursion to swim with the dolphins in Israel which was fab and the children loved it and will never forget it ! the hotel i can not fault in any way and the egyptian people are just fantastic ,really friendly do anything for you and great with the kids ,please tip them as they really deserve it ,there could have been a little more entertainment in the hotel in the evenings but i must say we had early nights because we were so tried from all the snorkelling .The swimming pool is fantastic really large and plenty of room to sit round it ,plenty of beds .towels are also provided daily for swimming .the hotels are not super cheap but then they are 5star just a little expensivefor drinks but all the hotels run happy hours and you can go into the other hotels for a change which is nice ..the rooms in the hotel are large roomy and clean maid in everyday ,food is varied in the day and excellent evening meals excellent but could have a little more variety .All i can say is that this was one of the best holidays we have ever been on and i can highly recommend it to you all .There is also a golf course which was being completed when we were there just at the front of the hotel which looked fab !

This would be much easier to read if you added headings or perhaps sectioned it into parahgraphs. There's lots of useful; info but it was quite difficult to read x

Advantages: Guaranteed sunshine. The private beach is safe, clean and half empty and the staff are lovely. Disadvantages: The dreaded Pharoah's curse! I didn't meet anyone who had not suffered from a stomach upset.
