A lovely hotel, in a great location. That sums it up!

In the UK it would be a 4*, but you you are in South Africa. Little things are different - for example you don't get fresh toiletries upon arrival, you will have half-full bottles and they only get replaced when they are completely empty. Nothing major, but I notice things like that!

This is probably the best hotel in Cape Town. While we stayed there the red carpet was out as dignitaries & celebrities were staying. But everyone gets saluted by the guard in the car park to make you feel like a dignitary!

If you want to go for a romantic holiday you need to book the honeymoon suites. We stayed in a normal room, and they have two beds pushed together with single bed linen on each so tightly folded that you struggle to get it out. It's just not the same as having a double bed.
