Advantages: Luxurious, quiet, relaxed but excellent service and facilities Disadvantages: None except it's too far to go for a short break.

The very first thing that struck me here was the slow pace of everything. No, I don't mean that the service was poor, just that there seemed to be no need to rush anywhere, or to do anything in a hurry. Everything from have a drink beside the pool to dining in one of the restaurants is relaxed and somehow refreshing. It is certainly a welcome break from city life.
There is an almost tropical feel around this hotel from the sun drenched atrium to the wide, cool corridors and the flower lined patios. It's like stepping into another world where time seems to slow down. The whole experience is very relaxing but it should be for the price we paid.
Rooms are divided into two sections here and the main ones are attached to the hotel but you can also opt for a two, or four-bedroomed villa. We had a standard room in the hotel.
The room itself was beautifully furnished, air-conditioned and equipped with everything you would expect from a top class hotel. I particularly liked the space we had in the room and the luxurious bathroom.
The staff is friendly and hospitable here and anything we wanted was instantly available. There are even two spas here so there is little likelihood of overcrowding but we preferred to lie beside the pool and enjoy the fabulous view of the ocean.
At the Taamra Spa a whole host of ayervedic therapies are available to rejuvenate and restore the body. I didn't try this but I heard some good reports from some other guests.
Sports facilities here include tennis courts, a 9 hole golf course and a fitness centre. I didn't try any of these as sporting activity is not my idea of a relaxing holiday. My other half played golf but I have to admit to not really listening when he described the game and the course. (Force of habit, I guess!)
You can choose from five restaurants here so there is plenty of choice when it comes to dining and the Coffee Shop provides food all day long if you fancy a snack, or a full meal. Their menu encompasses food from many different countries including Mediterranean and Oriental.
The Adego Cameons Bar provides a comfortable place to sit and relax in the evenings and there is also a separate children's entertainment area.
Prices here vary a lot depending on where you book. We booked through a local travel agent and didn't take a package deal. Six nights in a standard twin room, including breakfast, cost us INR 15,800 which is about £215 each. This is not a bad price for the quality of the hotel but, of course, we had to add airfares to that.
This is a fabulous hotel. It is relaxing and friendly but also top class with regard to service, food, cleanliness and facilities. Certainly one I would recommend.
Advantages: Food, Beaches, Fort, People, oh so many Disadvantages: None
problem at all you will get every drinks over here, but the local drink over here is Feni which is made from Cashewnuts. So if want to try something different then do try it, Goan feni is quite Famous.
