After my marriage I and my husband went to Goa for a holiday. We have booked the room in Taj Holiday Village through a Travel Agency. Although My husband has researched a bit about the place on internet, but the real surprise was when we reached hotel. Our flight from Delhi-Goa reached Goa airport by the evening about 6:00 PM. Within about hour and half we were at the hotel by hotel cab which was waiting at airport for us. After reaching the hotel it took just two minutes to get the room that was booked by us. Then hotel staff took us to our room by small car. The cars are used because the hotel is a really big property. The Hotel on arrival gives the map of the property for ease of reach. The rooms of the hotel are arranged is cottages. Some cottages are the single room cottage. some have more than one room in it. We were given the Cottage room that was pool view as well the Sea view. The pool was located just few steps from the sea. at the first instance we were enthralled by the scale of luxury that the hotel show. We got our welcome drink on arrival. The mini bar was full with all kind of things. The bath tub was prepared the room neat and tidy. The king size bed with softest of cushions. The study table, the 40inch LCD TV. Our own garden having resting chairs the hanging Chair. these were the things that were making our holiday exciting.
The hotel arranges various kinds of activities, ranging from Rock climbing, Water Sports, Para gliding, Speed boating, Boat cruises, etc. We went for paragliding ,speed boating and site seeing. The hotel has very good arrangement of the water sports as the sequirine beach which is the backyard of the hotel, towards which our room was facing is the hub of all the water sports activities in the goa. The Hotel arranged us a Luxury Cab. The driver of the cab took us too various locations through out goa. The knowledge of the driver was excellent. He knew everything about what we would like and what we need. We were having our own digital camera. but were worried who take shots. but the driver did so well that all the experience became much more wonderful as we were having all the memories caught in the camera.
The food that we got in the hotel was great. We being vegetarian tried every restaurant in the hotel. We even tried in room dining as well. The Service was excellent. We got our food in the time expected. The preperation of food was even better. The hotel has three restaurants. We tried food at all the three. The food was tasty and rich.
The service provided by the hotel staff was excellent. The quick response, 24hour service that we got was amazing. The availed laundry service, The travel help desk service that arranged us an very exquisite tour of goa for a day. the room housekeeping service was also excellent as when every we reached back to hotel we got our room well arranged and tidy.
We spent 4 days at the hotel and that were the best holidays i have ever got. This was the out the world experience.
