...! You can see all the little fish swimming around you, although obviously they dont come too close. If you go swimming early in the morning (I'm talking about 6 or 7am) you'll see the much bigger fish closer to the shore which is always a giggle. * THE WATER SPORTS * On the corner of the Ipsos beach you will find a couple selling watersports. I reccommend taking out a pedalo for a couple of hours, it's really cheap, I believe 12 euros for 2 hours and they discount you more if you go out for longer. You can take the boat out along the rocks and explore the little caves (well,look at them maybe not in them) and won t have to please other people (like if you go on a guided tour and you have someone constantly chatting about the history of Corfu). You could also take your boat to one of the many smaller, almost tiny, stretches... Read review

Advantages: Great hotel catering for both families and couples

...from a ground floor room to the beach. It is close to the main road, which travels up and down the east coast of the island. Some local shops and supermarkets are within walking distance but to do some real shopping you would have to catch a bus or excursion to the closest large town called Morro Jable on the southern coast about 1/2 hour away. This town happens to also be the location of two of the excursions we went on which I'll talk about later. >> Rooms << I'm not sure about what kinds of rooms other people had but we had a room with twin beds, a sofa bed for our 5 year old, a table, couple of comfortable chairs, a TV, cooker, fridge and sink and separate bathroom. We also had a small balcony and we found that most of the rooms like ours faced the beach and sea. We found that the wardrobe space was just about right for us... Read review

Advantages: Washing machine
Disadvantages: There are 2 things to do - one is to eat, the other swim!

...painting, trip to crazy golf, pirates day, party. Some things such as the pirates day and party cost 15 euros each. This was a bit steep but kids did get a t-shirt. Some kids clubs give these out for free on past experience. Eldest two Kids 7 and 6, seemed to enjoy the evening activities of discos, mini cinema (watching a DVD) and trips, and the eldest enjoyed the afternoon swimming. The youngest child (3) was too young to join in with his sisters, so did not attend any sessions. * Access To Beach * The was via an underpass which resembled an underground tunnel the height of about five foot. The beach was grey gravel with lots of shells and rubbish. The backing wall was full of graffitti. The beach was just a small strip about twelve foot wide and half a mile long. Not good or suitable for kids. Didn't seem very popular... Read review
