Tamaki Maori Village New Zealend. First of Rotoura is a amazing place it had over five diffrent geological parks with mud volcanoes and bubling water, huge cystals and water rockets shoot 100ft into the sky its like the famous yellow stone park in america. Maori is the tribal name of the people who lived in New Zealend before we discovered it. The maori people still run deep in new zealend and many family's who live there have maori roots. We heard of this trip from a leaflet in out hotel room. To get there there is bus which goes around all the hotels picking everyone up. (beats driving there). When we arrived you see a big gate and and seating are or standing in a circle with a gate leading into the forest. It starts and you hear a distant tune and singng coming closer then about after ten minutes a group of tribal people burst out and do a maori dance which is very amusing but you are warned before not to laugh becuse the maori people take offence to that. After then dance they lead you into the village in the forest and show you there homes and there way of live this lasts for 3 hours and you start to feel hungary as its 8pm. So they take you to there huge dining hall were they have made a massive fest using maori method of cooking. It was honestly one of the best meals I have ever had. There is also a shop were you can buy maori hand made intruments I would highly recommend this as it a once in alive chance thing aboustely amazing.
