We walked a short way along the bank of the Thames and there was Tattershall Castle a boat converted into a pub moored on the bank opposite the London Eye.
The beer was good, the food excellent and we just sat on deck in the sunshine watching the world go ... more

Advantages: Great location and terrific views over the Thames Disadvantages: Only thing I can think of would be if you don't enjoy the feeling of being on a boat
...definitely our trip to the Tattershall Castle. 'Hmm, we'll just stop off for a quick refreshing drink'. Some drink it turned out to be! Very reasonably priced that we couldn't only stay just for a drink. Looking at the menu I thought to myself that I couldn't pick only one dish. It honestly took the two of us about half an hour (and 2 drinks) to pick what we would have to eat. My partner chose the fish cakes which were lovely and very well presented, ... ...the river. After much deliberation I finally went for the Lamb shank. Absolutely divine! Portions were very well sized and very good value for money. The staff were very helpful and friendly and really created an amazing atmosphere. In the end we made to visits to the place in our 4 day trip to London. That is how impressed we were with it! I enjoyed it so much that I will definitely go back again on my next trip to London. ...
