Must see site with great tour and super cafe, cheap performances

In a five day visit to BsAs this was definitely the highlight.
Location It is easy to get to, located just off the main street that runs through BsAs
Tour I took the English language tour which costs the equivalent of about 2 pounds and lasts for an hour. The tour group was about 12 people and we went through the main auditorium, around the boxes and down to a maze of caverns and rehearsal rooms underground. The guides were excellent, answering all questions and giving lots of interesting facts throughout the tour. The only minus is that you can't take photos.
Cafe On the ground level of the theatre there is a small cafe which serves cake, sandwiches and coffees. It is complete with a piano and when I was there one of the waitresses gave an inpromptu singing performance, amazing!
Performances The performances occur most nights and you can buy tickets in teh box office on the ground floor. The tickets are a fraction of the price you would pay to see the opera anywhere else and well worth it.
