"...off the northbound exit to Tebay Services (Westmorland) just after junction 38 of the M6 which is just on the edge of the Lake District. A place to rest when driving on the M6

"We have often stopped at Tebay services both north and south heading back from Scotland at Easter we stopped at Tebay south. So this review is about Tebay southbound Tebay services are in Cumbria between j38 and j39 of the M6 In 1972 Tebay north opened it was not until 1993 that Tebay South bound opened. These service stations are owned by Westmorland Limited a company formed when two local Cumbrian families, the Dunnings and the Birketts joined ..." Read review

Tebay services - perfect for anyone travelling with Children

Advantagesfood, facilities, outdoor space, child friendly, ducks

Disadvantagespetrol as expensive as other motorway services

"...aged 6 & 8. Tebay services are now a favourite, requested stop over. Unlike most of the other service stations in the UK, Tebay is independently owned by Westmorland, and the food is all very much proper food, locally sourced and well cooked. The Childrens meals in particular are excellent value for money.
