Telford is a town in the Midlands just off the M54 making it easy to access. Known as the birthplace of industry
This town has lots of attractions and things to do, including a very large shopping centre with lots of shops to suit everyone's shopping needs, all indoors making shopping in any weather enjoyable. There are several very large car parks for the shopping centre all though you do have to pay to park. There is also a large market with stalls both inside and out and a really nice café on the inside of the market area. There are also a few large retail parks in Telford which are just a short car journey away.
Just on the edge of the shopping centre is a very large town park, including Wonderland a brilliant day out for all the family that the kids will love, the park is a large safe area, which is kept clean and in good condition not your average scabby park.
There is a bowling alley and ice rink also great attractions that all the family can enjoy together either in the day time or an evening neither of these are very expensive and details can be found by searching on the internet for them. The ice rink is one of the biggest in the country that has real ice.
There are various nice pubs all around Telford which serve gorgeous food some being only minutes away by car from the town centre itself. Telford also has many places to stay of various qualities that are close to the town and all its attractions.
If you go out of the town there is some beautiful Shropshire country side, for lovely walks out, there are pony trekking centres as well if this is something you are interested in. There is also Ironbridge which is a famous very large iron bridge, it was the worlds first bridge like this. The bridge was built in 1779 by a local ironmaster Abraham Darby
There is lots of easily accessible public transport including a large train station right next to the shopping centre and also a bus station with regular buses to and from various places.
I would definitely recommend a trip to Telford I spent a while living there and loved it.

Good review, glad to see someone sticking up for my home town! A more detailed mention of Telford Shopping Centre wouldn't go amiss however. 300,000 visitors a week, and widely regarded as one of the best in the country nowadays!

Interesting read, my Grandfather came from Telford, it was also the surname of my very first boy freind.
