    Advantages Advantages A reasonable local shopping centre, nice surroundings, with quite a few 'cheap' and bargain shops.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not a great deal of choice and no men's wear at all.

    Templars Square started life as Cowley Centre in the 70’s. It was built to serve the needs of the large housing estates in the Cowley area to the East of Oxford. Although modern at the time it was a badly designed heap of concrete which included a rather horrid wind tunnel. A few years ago the centre was given a much-needed facelift. The central area was enclosed, a nice floor was laid and it was miraculously turned into what is now a typical modern shopping precinct.     Templars square, at cowley oxford is a well laid out centre.This neat area is clean and easy to get around with a lift, toilets and a reasonable amount of quality shops. You have a shopmobility store and helpful people if you need assistance and can hire out the wheelchairs free so you can do your shopping even electric scooters.They also see to first aid here if ever needed and are swift to help. You do not have to have a perminant disability to use the service and can use it for doing the shopping (help) say if you have injured your leg or if you had fainted whilst out. they will even lend a ... more
