Advantages: Located next to beach
Disadvantages: None that I could see

This is a lovely hotel. One of many on this Island. I wanted to let you know what I thought about it. I am in the Travel Industry so can be quite critical. Well here goes - ***********LOCATION*********** The hotel is only 15 Km from Tenerife Sur Airport making the transfer quite short. This was great after a 4 hour flight !!! ...beach is just through a gate at rear of the pool area and The Veronicas and Starcos clubbing areas are about 5-10 mins walk away, as are a good variety of restaurants. ***********ROOMS*********** The room we had was slightly larger than most basic hotel rooms and we also had a fridge in the cupboard free of charge. Advantages: lovely weather, nice hotels, big pools, friendly staff
Disadvantages: a few coakroaches, but only a few... remember to take some bug spray..

...we finally arrived at the aparthotel at 3:50AM, very tired. We were greeted on arrival by a nice polite english speaking man on reception. We were checked in very quickly, given our our AI bands and shown straight to our rooms. We asked the receptionist if there was a machine were we could purchase some water. He said as we were AI we could get water straight away and brought us two bottle's to our room. We had been allocated a ground floor 1 bedroom ...
...apartment consisted of a bedroom with 2 twin beds, bathroom with bath shower, kitchenette (2 cooking rings, microwave, cooking utensils and a fridge, kettle), satellite TV and a safety deposit box (which we didn't choose to use). The apartment was very spacious and on arrival clean and tidy. We had fresh towels and a bath mat. On the terrace we had a table and chairs and a clothes horse to dry any washing. Disadvantages: Is situated on a steep hill

We resided in these appartments in February and were very impressed with the location and cleanliness of the place on arrival. The staff were friendly and showed us to the room. In which the ceiling was flaking. We had to cover all of out food on the table and constantly had to wipe ourselves down with all the white dust falling on us. We were lead to believe this was not occurring in all of the appartments. The pool was rather small and did get ...
...sun loungers for the time of year (although in summer months i cant see there being enough). 2 minutes from the hotel and we are in the middle of many tourist shops and restaurants and bars. Then an extra 5 minutes to the lovely beach and more bars and restaurants. All in all was a good holiday. The self catering appartment suited our needs, and did have a good time. Disadvantages: Noise, cleanliness, safety.

...stayed at the Paradero I apartments in January 2008. I was a little disappointed upon viewing the apartment. It wasn't very clean and the patio door safety consisted of a bolt lock and a pole (to stop the door from opening). We went out onto the balcony(which is shared with the rest of the floor) and there was dog poo on our grass area. The kitchen area was pretty outdated, but it did the job. The furniture was fine, beds ok. Paradero I doesn't have ...
...the different complexes. The apartments are VERY noisy at night, as you're only a stones throw away from veronicas strip. The noise didn't stop until about 7 or 8am. There's also a pathway to the back of the apartments that they reccommend you don't use after dark, which is understandable as there seem to be quite a few unsavoury characters residing in Playa De Las Americas. Disadvantages: away from the nightlife/bars

stayed at this hotel five years ago this Christmas, by myself and enjoyed every minute of it !!! The hotel is situated on the Avenida Rafael Puig which is the main road that seems to run through Playa De Las Americas, it is quite large, over 200 rooms and it seemed to be unusually quiet, but that maybe because a lot of the guests are retired Germans and not drunken louts. my room was situated on the first floor overlooking the avenida rafael puig ...
...front of it. the room was very clean with en suite bathroom, double bed and safe in the room also. The evening meals were nice but a bit samey after a few days, if I recall correctly there wasn't a buffet, it was a waiter taking orders. I didn't take breakfast there as I was out with friends until 6am. It is not near the Veronicas area so I was taxiing most of the time to the nightlife.
