Las Dalias Hotel Costa Adeje Tenerife Advantages: great pool area and good entertainment Disadvantages: on a slight hill not good for people with walking difficulties this is by far one of the best hotels i have stayed in in tenerife, it was so good i have been three times this year, all inclusive is the best way to go with this hotel as it has so much to offer in the range of food, we have stayed all inclusive three times now and never get bored of the variety of food on offer. hotel has three swimming pools which at most times of the year are absaloutley freezing, for a couple of months between october and january ... ...to the brim with children. FRIENDLY HOTEL Advantages: FANTASTIC LOCATION AND FRIENDLY STAFF Disadvantages: COULD BE CLOSER TO BEACH ...ABOUT 6 TIMES WITH OTHER BARCELO HOTELS IN THE CANARIES, CANNOT FAULT THE HOTEL GROUP. ON ONE VISIT TWINS WERE ONLY 18 MONTHS OLD, STAFF BENT OVER BACKWARDS TO HELP, EVEN WITH FEEDING! WENT BACK AGAIN WITH THIRD CHILD, SAME FRIENDLY STAFF, WILL GO BACK AGAIN IN AUTUMN, FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING, SMALL POOL WAS LOVELY AND WARM, AND SUITE WAS AMAZING. KIDS CLUB WAS VERY GOOD, EVENING ENTERTAINMENT WAS OK, BUT THE STAFF TRIED VERY HARD. AND THE KIDS ENJOYED ... ...THEN THEY ARE FALLING OVER THEMSELVES TO SERVE YOU. thomson gold hotel Advantages: caboret Disadvantages: location I used to be a holiday rep for thomson in tenefire north. The el tope was the thomson gold hotel just for couples. People pay an awful lot to stay in these places. Food was fantastic that was offered. The pool area was amazing. The best thing for me was the entertain shows that were put on for the guests by the decidated entertainers and also the reps. My second visit to a Group H10 Advantages: Good Location, only two years old Disadvantages: Not many English in hotel ...my previous op on the H10 Med Village I stayed in in Salou. This was my second experience of staying in another Group H10 Hotel. We visited La Nina in Costa Adeje just two weeks ago so everything about this hotel is fresh in mind. On arrival to the hotel I thought it was a bit odd. Stuck in the middle of the main street with shops practically attached to the hotel and underneath it on a lower floor. Going into the reception area you just couldn't ... ...the casino attched to the H10 Gran Tenerife which is about 15-20 minutes walk from La Nina. Also given a booklet of useful info about the hotel and a pool towel ticket which could be exchanged at the pool for a towel and on the return you get another ticket which again you can exchange again the next day or when you needed it. Word of warning, don't loose these tickets, they will charge you 15 euros! A delightful hotel Advantages: Central, friendly and excellent food Disadvantages: Slightly (but only slightly) dated! We stayed here March 2008. (Booked hotel through Thomsons and flight with Ryanair) Fab, friendly hotel. We didn't think it was particularly attractive from outside but once inside it was lovely. Maybe rooms a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Its in a central position without being noisy and loud. Bars and restaurants over the road and its a nice walk into the livelier area. Food was best we've had on a package holiday. The choice and quality ... ...Not much contact with reception etc so can't really comment on them but other staff all seemed ok. For any other dancers out there, the added bonus is that they have ballroom dancing most nights! We're not the type to get up at the break of dawn to get a sunbed but we never had any problems at all!
