My partner and I (both early 20's) have stayed at this resort twice, both in and out of the summer season and I would recommend not only the hotel but the area itself to anyone thinking of going. We resided in these appartments in February and were very impressed with the location and cleanliness of the place on arrival. The staff were friendly and showed us to the room. In which the ceiling was flaking. We had to cover all of out food on the table and constantly had to wipe ourselves down with all the white dust falling on us. We were lead to believe this was not occurring in all of the appartments. The pool was rather small and did get ...
...sun loungers for the time of year (although in summer months i cant see there being enough). 2 minutes from the hotel and we are in the middle of many tourist shops and restaurants and bars. Then an extra 5 minutes to the lovely beach and more bars and restaurants. All in all was a good holiday. The self catering appartment suited our needs, and did have a good time. I stayed at the Arona Gran with my boyfriend in June 2007. We booked this hotel due to the great reviews that it had gotten from other travellers and the 4 star rating that it has. Before travelling we had heard that there was some building work being completed on the hotel. We asked our tour operator COSMOS if they could inform us of the exact 'building work' but they were absolutely no help what so ever. All they kept saying to us was that they ...

Disadvantages: Card payment system, no cash allowed, no air conditioning!

The Oasis Golf Resort can only be described as perfect for a holiday retreat. As soon as you enter the complex you are greeted by the most helpful of staff and the most beautiful of surroundings. The reception area is lushly deisgned complete with chirping birds. Within this area is a very secure safety deposit system where you can be assured our precious belongings are safe. This is at a nominal cost. A lovely bar also awaits you in this area leading ...
...food in the restaurant is of high quality, with a good level of choice and at a reasonable price. Drinks are also reasonably priced. Moving on through the reception and you are greeted by the wonderful sight of a large family orientated swimming pool complete with jacuzzi area and separate kids pool. The place just oozes fun. Disadvantages: disappearance of values from the reception's safe

The hotel was very pleasant. But: at the day of checking out we quited our room at 12.00 and have free time before flight (at 20.20), we checked passports, tickers and money to the reception-s safe. When we returned at 17.00, the documents had disappeared. Nobody stealed then except stuff. And nowadays all the week I'm waiting their answers, but they don't think about their reputation.
