The best place to stay in Las Americas

Advantages: Location, price
Disadvantages: None

I stayed here with my sister in April 07 and loved every second of it. We had a 1 bed apartment which was huge and very well equipped. There was a seperate kitchen which even had a full size oven which is very rare. The rooms were clean and there was a maid service every other day, maybe more often as we only stayed for a weekend (friday to tuesday). The pool is lovely and there is never a shortage of sunbeds, no matter what time of day you go. ...
...all at very reasonable prices. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I go to Tenerife once a month and so bought a spanish sim card for my mobile to use while I'm out there as it is cheaper. I don't speak spanish so I gave my mobile to the lady on reception who kindly called customer services and registered my sim card for me. The staff are also quite happy to offer late check outs at any time you request for a cost of 30 euros. We kept our apartment ...

Top Holiday

Advantages: Price, location
Disadvantages: Tea only available with breakfast not dinner

Myself and my partner have just returned from a week in this hotel and had a fabulous time. We booked a double room with a Jacuzzi bath in the bathroom!!! What a lovely touch after a hard days tourism relaxing and having the jets massage those aching muscles. We stayed Half Board and found the food more than adequete. Both breakfast and dinner were buffet style which meant you could always find something you fancied to eat. Each evening provided ...
...to different ready made dishes such as paella, sweet and sour pasta dishes etc. Drinks were reasonably priced and although we did not use them the pool areas were lovely. The position of the hotel is fab as it is on top of a hill so the view of Puerto De La Cruz and Mount Teide is outstanding. They also offer a courtesy bus down into town a number of times a day. We only paid 300 pounds for the week and were well impressed. ...

Club Atlantis, Costa Adeje, Tenerife

Advantages: Quiet and relaxing
Disadvantages: Dingy room and pool area dominated by timeshare owners

My boyfriend and I visited this hotel last summer, having gotten a bargain price through Travel Republic. I think we paid around £150 for the room for the week, which was a good price for a four star hotel in Costa Adeje, one of Tenerife's more family and couple based upmarket resorts. When we arrived it all looked fairly posistive - the reception area was clean and spacious if a little dated and the welcome we received was nice if a little brusque. ...
...they bordered on rude at times in spite of our efforts to speak Spanish to them because of their limited English. There was a small shop selling standards such as bottles of water and chocolate so we got some snacks (overpriced but what you expect in a hotel) after our journey and headed off to our room. We were situated on the ground floor, and after a lengthy struggle to actually manage to open the door we got help from reception to do it. I never ...

Excellent hotel and facilities

Advantages: Lovely hotel in a nice area
Disadvantages: Could possibly have better evening entertainment

We have been to this hotel 3 times now and it just gets better. The hotel staff are friendly, especially the bar and restaurant staff, who can't do enough for you. The rooms are bright and airy and have fridges which are really useful for storing drinks. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds. Admittedly you have to be down early to secure the best positions round the pool but there are usually enough everyone, even later in the day. The ...
...Breakfasts consist of eggs, bacon, sausage etc. or cold meats, cheeses, etc or pancakes with syrups or all different fruits and breads. Evening meals are cooked in front of you i.e. steaks, chops, casseroles etc., 2 or 3 different types of fish, all the usual vegetables and salads. They have show cooking round the pool once or twice a week. There are plenty of activities for both children and adults in the day. The animacion team are really friendly ...

Parque de La Paz Hotel Review.

Advantages: Excellent location and fantastic value for money. Highly recommended.
Disadvantages: Nothing stands out as being an issue.

...The Parque de La Paz hotel is located in Playa de las Americas on the south of the Island. It is situated nearby a supermarket and a mere 400m from the wonderful beaches. Tenerife's reputation certainly goes before it and I found many of my ideas surrounding the island were wrong. It is true that Tenerife accomodates a large number of english tourists, however, i felt that part of the culture of the island remained in tact and the standards were ...
...the presence of security the hotel was a family friendly place. During my 7 day stay I didn't witness any unruly behaviour of any kind and the noise levels were reasonably maintained. The pool was not over crowded and there was a life guard on duty at all times. I did not eat at the hotel but i understand there was a bar and restaurant buy the pool serving a whole manner of food and drink. The receptionist was very helpful with any questions we had, ...
