Situated in George Street in Central Manchester, the Teppanyaki Japanese Restaurant is a real find. This was my first visit to a Japanese restaurant and I was more than a little nervous. If the thought of Sushi and Saki fills you with horror, this restaurant will put you at ease straight away.

"Teppanyaki dining" refers to a Japanese tradition, where highly trained chefs prepare the meal at your table on a large iron griddle. As someone who can’t cook, won’t ... ...These are well complemented by a selection of wines and alchoholic drinks.
Fine food and friendly service and a traditional yet fresh décor, make it easy to understand why the Teppanyaki in Manchester is a winner with both the locals and tourists. Hopefully someone will save me a seat. ...

*Broad Street*
This is a long street full of clubs, bars, pubs and restaraunts. I won't name them all as there are too many and I can't remember all of their names, and I havn't been to all of them. Broad Street contains; Branigans (cheesy music), The Works (lots of floors with different music to cater for all tastes, situated in the heart of Broad Street), Bar Risa, Jimmi Spice (a all you can eat buffet for £11.99 containing Italian, Indian, Chinese and Thai food), Flares (like a 60's and 70's club where everyone dressed up), Hard Rock Cafe...

Advantages: Impeccable Five Star Hotel Disadvantages: It's In A Casino!
...Service is also very good, but I shall return to this later. JJ's Champagne Bar & Grill is a 'New York - style' (an overused phrase if ever there was one!) Bar and Grill, with very dim lights and a moribund pianist hunched behind an elephantine Steinway in the corner. The overall effect is of Mahogany, which seems to drip from the walls like maple syrup. Other restaurants within the hotel include Breezes, located on the third floor of the tower, and Koko, a JapaneseTeppanyakirestaurant. The hotel also has extensive banqueting and reception facilities, including a multi-million dollar, specially fitted Kosher kitchen.
The Crown Spa incorporates one of the most luxurious indoor pools in Australia. Hotel guests can use the 25 metre heated indoor pool at their leisure, with access to poolside refreshments. Two rebound-ace tennis courts...

...only square with a pub opposite, and so it is very open for when you enter and leave.
Being self-catering I always pop to the Marks and Spencer at the Haymarket for supplies to pop in the fridge but if eating out is more your thing, there are loads of great restaurants around the area; you don't even need to travel far. The apartments are built upon a Japaneserestaurant called Tai Pan. Hanahana teppanyakirestaurant is just around the corner on Bath Lane. Also, Stowell Street, famous for its Chinese restaurants is a couple of minutes walk away.
I imagine you have guessed that I love the Premier Apartments and if there is one nearby where I am travelling, I will now always opt for the apartment rather than a hotel.
The Premier apartments in Newcastle only opened in May 2005 so I really hope they can maintain the quality, service...
