Great airport hotel Review ofRadisson SAS Hotel - Manchester Airport, Manchesterby

Advantages: Nice room and fab location Disadvantages: can be pricey
...The Radisson hotel at Manchester Airport is probably one of the more well known as it has now been there for quite some time and unlike a lot of others around the Airport, hasn't been bought out over the years and renamed. The hotel is set right in the heart of Manchester Airport so that all three terminals are easily accessible from it and it is easy spot if you are coming off of the motorway to the Airport as it is set right at the bottom of a hill in front of the main roundabout at the airport that has all the flags of the world on it.
Room:
The rooms at the hotel are all a decent size - they have various room types and the lower floors consist of the standard rooms and the higher floors have the upgraded rooms.
The standard rooms are nice but tend to be decorated in a more simple style whilst the upgraded rooms tend to be brighter...

Advantages: Big, Shiny, New Disadvantages: Rail link between terminals incomplete; Some flights still leave from old T2
...attractive and serviceable. There is a hotel attached directly to this terminal for those who want to sleep in until the last possible moment before their flight home.
The horror stories of long walks in some of the other reviews refer to the old workhorse, Terminal 2. Designed as a long rectangle, it features U.S. customs pre-clearance at one end and a combination of international and domestic gates along the rest. Problems arise when you transfer from an international or Canadian domestic flight (in T1) to a U.S.-bound one, or arrive from the U.S. and transfer to domestic / international service -- you will almost certainly have to change terminals. However, this will eventually become a thing of the past, as Terminal 2 is scheduled to be closed and demolished to make way for the second phase of the new T1.
The other major development...

Oasis in Oz Review ofSydney, Australia (SYD)by
kinderscout2001
Advantages: easy to navigate, clean and spacious Disadvantages: none to think of
...A very quick airport to navigate around with pleanty of helpful staff. The airport is clean and tidy and is very well appointed. After a long flight in, it was good that everything was well appointed. Cheap to get into the centre of Sydney by either local taxi or the hotel shuttle buses. Both are waiting at the departure exit doors. Upon leaving the check in time was so quick with 30 plus agents ready to book you in.
Only downside is if you are a smoker, and then it means you have to go outside the terminal building to have a smoke as it is not allowed anywhere inside the terminal buildings.
Overall a very quick and polite service was received....

I had heard some mixed reports about Steven Speilberg and Tom Hanks latest collaboration, but was sufficiently intrigued to add it to my DVD rental list.
Tom Hanks plays Viktor Navorski from the small independent (and fictitious) state of Krakozhia more
The Terminal is rather a strange film, it doesn't really have a strong plot, and it is more of a gentle, sometimes whimsical tale about a man who becomes stranded at JFK airport. The man in question is Viktor Navorski (Tom Hanks) who having come to... more

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.
