    I've been to Benidorm twice don't think I will ever return again, however it was a pleasure to visit Terra Mitica whilst I was there, on both occasions. Terra Mitica is a theme park that is located just on the outskirts of Benidorm, you see it clearly as you are coming from the airport on the journey to Benidorm as it has the words Terra Mitica embedded into the rocks, kind of like Hollywood style and when that captures you attention you can see a huge wooden roller coaster.     Advantages Advantages It's a day away from Benidorm

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Compared to other theme parks- Very dissapointing overall

    We went to Terramitica for a day in August with our two kids aged 7 & 12. during a holiday to Benidorm. We decided that for a break one day, we'd try "Terramiticca" We've done Disney, Epcot, MGM studios, Port Aventura and we've also gone to other theme parks in the Far East as well as the usual ones at home- We always have a ball- Until we went to Terramittica. It certainly looks impressive on the drive up, but once there, it's a huge let down. First of all, there was a gruelling 25 minute walk from the car park in the heat to even get to the theme-park gates, it was very expensive and quite ... more

    Advantages Advantages Theres a lot more than just rides, not many people there so you dont queue for long!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages the Biggest ride can be inactive for a few hours while the park gets busy and spanish kids have no manners so they just push in!

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" As you approach the Park the first things you notice are the 'Magnus Colossus'(a sort of run away train) and the large 'Terra Mitica' sign that is carved into the mountain behind the park. The whole park looks great and new, as I think it's only been open around 1 year. What is the layout like?     Advantages Advantages Terra Mitica is not too far from central Benidorm.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages You need to be prepared to do a lot of walking

    Terra Mitica is a fun holiday experience. When we visited it last year it was really quite busy. On entering the park you will see statues of Egyptian Gods and walls decorated with heiroglyphs. Having been to Egypt I can tell you that the look of these things is extremely realistic. There are lots of fun things to do, even if you're not into funfair type rides. There are side shows in different parts of the site. At some point during the day you can see Roman Gladiators. You can see Egyptian Pharoes and slaves.     Advantages Advantages Queues are never too long, Water fountains to cool off, Fast pass, Free bus transfer, Discounts.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Food/Drink can be expensive

    I have visited Terra Mitica in Costa Blanca, Benidorm 5 times over the last 4 years. Everytime i visit i make sure i pick up a discount from Benidorm city. There is normally a stall near McDonalds/Burgerking on Playa which offer discounts. The most generous discount i have recieved was second consecutive day free and a few Euros off the entrance fee. At the same site as the Terra Mitica discount stand a free open roof bus transfere is available which takes you directly to Terra Mitica via its sister park Terra Natura.
