Tewkesbury is a little town located in Gloucestershire, Tewkesbury sits on the confluence (where rivers meet) of the river seven and river avon. Tewkesbury is a historic town, with lots of timber framed buildings and a maze of little alleys. Tewkesbury also has a 11th century Abbey.
There is lots to see and do in tewkesbury. Walks along the river, boat trips, shopping, visiting museums and the abbey. There is a market twice a week on a wednesday and a saturday. There is a local swimming pool, health suite and gym, located in the town.

There is a regular bus services. The 41 from northway, thru tewkesbury to cheltenham is every 20mins. The 42 from northway, thru tewkesbury, thru the wheatpeices estate then to cheltenham every 20minutes. The 71 from tewkesbury to gloucester is every hour.
There is a nice selection of shops, ranging from the high street names (peacocks, clarks, mackays, boots, superdrug, dp, thorntons) to the small shops. It is a nice high street with the mix of old and new buildings. It all centers around the cross (war memorial) and there are three streets leading from this (High street, Chuch street and barton street. Tewkesbury also has plenty of dentists, doctors and a small hospital just incase you require these during your visit. Over all tewkesbury is a great place to visit and live. Its location provides a great base for the surrounding areas.

Review of Tewkesbury
Advantages: It's convenient to Cheltenham, and is probably the only Hilton for miles. Quaint. Disadvantages: Worn-out, shoddy service, questionable eateries, exorbitant prices, ineffective staff, bugs.
