We have flown to Asia many times and on a couple of times with Thai International. They have some benefits that other airlines sometimes lack. The main one for me is the extra leg room in economy - they dont squash in extra rows so you can stretch out a bit which is great on a long flight. Also they have more cabin crew than lots of airlines which means better service (although their English is not always up to scratch, they are very keen to serve drinks which is good! They serve excellent food so it feels like your holiday has started even before you arrive at your destination.
On the downside they dont have seat back TVs but I would recommend them very highly.
